ReflectionGroup projects aren't always easy, but with this particular group we were able to successfully complete everything unscathed. We were all able to contribute something throughout the planning, doing, and presenting portions of the project. We prioritized communication through the use of shared documents and a group chat. These were a crucial component to our success because it accommodated for everyones different schedules. We could continue to work together no matter what time it was and could see our project coming together in real time. As someone who gets anxious about things getting done so close to deadlines, this helped to keep me at ease. Especially with our regular check ins and knowing that I was only a text away from someone who was able to give me feedback. In the future as I assign group projects for my own students, I will keep everything I learned in mind. Making sure they have supports, by asking them to spread out the work by giving different roles and responsibilities, utilizing shared documents and encourage multiple check in times with their groups to help with their overall success and experiences.
